No, you cannot pursue B.Tech in Computer Science engineering branch at Delhi Technological University if you are from PCB branch because mathematics is compulsory in 12th for pursuing B.Tech in CSE branch.

The primary route is lateral entry into the second year of a B.Tech programme after completing your diploma. This is often facilitated by state-level entrance exams like LEET, JELET, or ECET, or through direct admissions offered by some institutions.

B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in LNMIIT Jaipur shows the cutoffs of the recent future with high demand. Although specific cutoffs may not be declared by departments all the time, on most occasions, a percentage of passing in JEE Main is generally 97 and above percentile to get into CSE. In the Special Round, one had to have a percentile of 90 or more in the JEE Main First 2024. It is mostly admitted on JEE Main results, and then online counselling. Another criterion is the aggregate marks of Class 12th (60% and above) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Defining the "best" college for B.Tech truly depends on your priorities! If you're aiming for top-tier research and innovation, IITs (like Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kanpur) are unparalleled. For strong industry connections and practical exposure, NITs (like Trichy, Warangal) and private institutions like VIT Vellore or SRM are excellent. Some prefer location, specific branch strength, or affordability. Each college has unique strengths, so consider what matters most to your academic and career goals.

One can take a B.Tech course laterally, whereby a Diploma or a B.Sc. with Math can directly enter into the 2 and or even 3 rd year of the engineering degree. The criteria are normally 3 years Diploma in a discipline of engineering or B.Sc. (Mathematics), minimum aggregate percentage (45-60% majorly). Most institutes have their admissions through the lateral entry entrance examinations at the state (the state entrance exams are LEET^ {6} or BCECE LE^ {7} etc.) or institution level and after that the counselling. Application is done by filling online forms, submitting documents and payment of fees.

RT in Chemistry on your 12 th marksheet generally refers to Repeat Theory, whereby, you had failed in understanding the theory part of the Chemistry test. Although it may pass you overall in case you score sufficiently in other subjects/practicals, the eligibility criterion in several B.Tech courses, particularly in the best institutions such as IITs/NITs, stipulates you to have passed each of the subjects individually including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). You may be required to pass the compartment/improvement exam in Chemistry so as to meet B.Tech admission requirement in most colleges. Nonetheless, in some private univ
