The eligibility requirements to get admissions into both universities are almost similar, in which, firstly, candidates are required to qualify their Class 12 from Science stream. Additionally, I have secured a valid score in JEE Mains. 

Yes, NIT Trichy does have an HS quota. For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 119 to 33628, according to the first and last rounds. 

On the other hand, for the OBC HS quota, the cutoff varied between 151 and 38496 for BArch and various BTech course branches. Considering the last round cutoff rank for both quotas, we can see that the OBC HS quota had slightly accessible ranks in comparison to the OBC AI category.
