Hello!
To get admission into B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 (HSE) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects with atleast 45% marks. Admission is through KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) exam. The seat distribution is as follows:
- 50% Merit (Free Seats)
- 35% Management Quota
- 15% NRI Quota (Based on HSE marks only)
Lateral entry is also available for Diploma holders.

IIITDM Kancheepuram accepts JEE Main scores, followed by JEE Main couselling for admission to the BE/ BTech courses. JEE Main Round 1 is released for the institute recently. The institution offers UG programmes for 3 years - 4 years. For programmes at PG level, the duration is 2 years. Rathinam Technical Campus offers 16 courses which includes B.E. / B.Tech and MBA/PGDM, etc. Courses offered here are in affiliation with Anna University. Candidates can apply online for their preferred programme or reach out to the admission office for offline admission. The total tuition fee for UG programmes is INR 2 Lacs - INR 2.10 Lakh. Yes, it is possible to get admission to VIT Pune with 40000 rank in JEE Main. VIT Pune JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for the last round. The cutoff was released as opening and closing cutoff ranks for different BTech specialisations. The cutoff ranks among the General AI category students varied between 24786 and 93134, for different BTech specialisations. At 40,000 rank, student can get admission to a number of specialisations such as B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and B.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
