JMI JEE Main Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech programme. The first round closing cutoff ranged from 17752 and 51961 for the General category candidates under the All India quota. The most sought-after BTech specialisation was B.Tech. in Computer Engineering with a cutoff rank of 17752, and the least popular was B.Tech. in Civil Engineering programme. Yes, students who do not qualify JEE Main can absolutely secure admission to B.E. programs at Chandigarh University through CUCET. CUCET is CU's official entrance examination and serves as a primary admission route for engineering aspirants. The university has designed this exam to fairly assess aptitude, subject knowledge, and readiness for engineering education. JEE Main is not treated as a compulsory qualifying exam for admission. For admissions to BTech at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune students must pay the application fees of the required exams such as JEE Mains or MHT CET which are given below:
- JEE Mains: Between INR 500 and INR 1,000 depending on category for centers inside India.
- MHT CET: INR 800 for General category (INR for Reserved category from Maharashtra and PwD candidates)

The BTech fee at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune depends on whether one takes admission through the management quota (having higher fees) as well as chosen specialisation. This means that students may have INR 2,12,165 annually for non-management quota and between INR 4,18,165 and INR 6,24,165 annually for management quota. Though this figure doesn't take into account any extra fees such as hostel charges.
