This is completely your choice. If you are really inclined towards the field of electrical systems and electronics and love to play with wires every day, you can go ahead and pursue M.Tech in Electrical Engineering course after completng your BTech degree. You need to invest 2 years for the PG course, where you can also specialize in a particular subject area.
Further, if you want to start earning as early as possible and become financially independent, you can look for a job. Top recruiters offer healthy salaries to EE course graduates across a variety of work fields. At the end of the day, you must think about your interests and futur

SOA University offers several BTech specialisations i.e., Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. To identify which is the best specialisation, candidates must make the decision according to their interests, career goals, and industry demand. However, based on the verified sources, BTech in CSE, AI, ML, and Data Science specialsiation is demanded in the market nowadays.

For admissions to the BTech course at SOA University, the university accepts the scores of SAAT. Moreover, candidates can access and fill out the SAAT (Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Admission Test) application form from the official website of SOA University. At the admission protal of the univeristy, the application form of SAAT is available. Candidates can fill out the form with requried details. Note: candidates can appear for SAAT only once per programme.

The latest JECRC University BTech placement report has not been released. However, according to the overall report, over 2,230 offers were issued during 2025 placements. The topmost and average packages given to students in the placement drive 2025 were INR 33 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. A total of 140 companies visited the campus as well. Additionally, more than 800 students were placed with a salary package of more than INR 7 LPA. The topmost package was provided by Amazon.

While comparing JECRC University and SOA University based on parameters of BTech tuition fees, JECRC University is a more economical option for pursuing a BTech course. The fee for the BTech tuition at JECRC University ranges from INR 3.6 Lacs to INR 7 lakh, which is much more affordable compared to SOA University's BTech tuition fee, which ranges from INR 5.1 Lacs to INR 12.2 lakh. However, it must be noted that the mentioned fees have been taken from the official website and are still subject to change.
