Based on the India Today ranking, the university 226 in 2023 in the 'Engineering' category. The Times has ranked JECRC University in 52th rank in 2023.

Yes, VIT - Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune has been ranked by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for its BTech course. In 2022, VIT Pune was ranked142 in the Engineering category, in 2023 it was ranked in category between 151-200.

The institute runs an active Training and Placement Office that plays an active role in ensuring that the students are industry-ready through various seminars, guest lectures, workshops, and training.
