B.Tech

Admission in B.Tech at NIT, Silchar is based on JEE Mains score.

Eligibility criteria for seeking admission is 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths as my subjects. Other subjects such as computer science or IP is not considered while seeking admission in B.Tech degrees.

You may evaluate following private universities for doing B.Tech in NCR:
(a) Shiv Nadar University
(b) JIIT University
(c) Amity University
(d) Sharda University
(e) Times University
(f) NIIT University

Any graduate with more than 50% marks is eligible to seek admission in MBA. You are eligible to seek admission in MBA on completion of BTech subject to meeting eligibility criteria. As engineers, you can do all MBA specialisation. You must choose your specialisation based on your personality traits

Both BE and B.Tech are similar degree. It is only nomenclature difference.You are advised to seek lateral entry admission in 2nd year of B.Tech on completion of Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering.

Polytechnic donot conduct B.Tech degree courses. Polytechnic conduct Diploma in Engineering courses of three year duration. Eligibilty for Diploma in Engineering is 10th class pass.
