Hello Guruprasad,
Placement is a function of market dynamics. It follows the law of demand & supply. What will happen after four years is anybody's guess? But IT and the three basic branches of civil, mechanical & electrical appear to be the best candidate for placements.

First search out the companies of any sector in which you are willing to work. Then, take a look of what are the requirements they have been put there to recruit a person. I am sure you will get your answer then what to study along with your B.Tech in CSE.

Hello Arijit,
It's actually not the question if which is better or worse. It's what is possible and what is not. If taking up job to support family ,etc is a must, then don't look for B.Tech. If can afford to study for three more years then only go for B.Tech else job along with AMIE.

Hello Anshu,
It's a very good question that you have asked. Once upon a time, cost of studying in IITs & NITs was very low. But now it's almost Rs. 1L. Some state govt colleges charge a little less.
