Hello Arun,
With a rank of around 3 Lacs, I am afraid you are not going to get admission in any of the NIT's, IIT's or CFI's. I would suggest you to take a break of one year, study well & appear for JEE Mains again.

Hello Kunal,
IIIT's are these days most sought after since software is considered as a sure bet for good placement. But as the number of seats is limited one need to have percentile above 80 to have some chance.

Hello Kamran,
There are plenty of engineers of different branches in India who have migrated to a career in software. Nothing prevents you too from joining this bandwagon.
Best wishes!

You have not specified which type of visa and for which country you want to apply for the visa. What is your purpose to obtain a visa? Without this information, it will be difficult to answer your query.
