You need to score atleast above JEE Mains cut-off to get admission in a good college. With a below than that cut-off, you can't even expect anything.

No idea about VIT-Andhra, but CGC-Landran, CGC-Landran College is near Mohali. Well, Mohali is a good area college has good infrastructure, and has many facilities like hostel facility, sports complex and food courts (Mc Donald’s) and much more.
