While securing a seat in top NITs and IIITs is difficult, you may have a chance at some GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes) or reputed state-level government colleges for less popular branches like Civil or Mechanical Engineering. For top branches like CSE, you should consider private engineering colleges.

The admission fees for BTech admissions at IIIT Lucknow are currently unknown. The admission fees typically includes the first instalment of the tuition feefor the chosen BTech course and several one-time fees. The admission fees must be paid after the candidate has been allotted a seat at the end of the admissions process. Candidates will be informed of the admission fee payable by them at the appropriate admission process stage.

Regular B.E./B.Tech: INR 1.35 Lacs to INR 1.72 Lacs total for 3-4 years
Lateral Entry B.Tech: INR 1.2 Lacs to INR 1.6 Lacs total for 3 years
Approximate yearly tuition fee: INR 40,000

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised board.
A minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in the prescribed group subjects, which typically include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Admission is based on valid scores in entrance exams such as Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or JEE Main.

The BTech course fees at IIIT Lucknow in 2025 is INR 11.49 in 2025. This fee amount is a combination of BTech tuition fee which is INR 9.6 lakh, one-time payment of INR 18,500 and hostel fees which is INR 1.7 lakh. A portion of the tuition fee as well as the one time payments are combined to make the admission fees at IIIT Lucknow.

You cannot get admission into B.Tech CSE at RTMNU based solely on your 12th board marks. You must have cleared JEE Main or MHT CET, with a minimum of 50% in PCM
