Yes, SIT Pune offers sports scholarships for its BTech programme. SIU also offers University Sports Scholarship to the students who have performed well in the sports. A scholarship of INR 24,000 will be awarded to the top five sportsmen of SIU who have participated at intervarsity/national/international or state-level tournaments. Candidates can use the scholarship for financial aid during the programme.

Since the university is privately owned, it might not adhere to the reservation policy set by the government of India and Maharashtra State Government.
