Yes, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main can get admission in BTech programme of BASU Patna. However, it is not mandatory to have a JEE Main score. Candidates can also get admission in BTech with BCECE entrance exam score. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts pen and paper based mode test for admission to agriculture and horticulture Science courses.

HNBGU Uttarakhand BTech admission criteria is entrance-based. The university prepares a merit list based on applicants' CUET scores. If the seats are left vacant, then merit list students of HNBGU counselling are selected based on JEE Main score. Further, apart from these criteria, aspirants must have the required educational qualifications as well.
