Applicants willing to enrol in the BTech programme at the NIT Jamshedpur must have completed class 12 with a minimum score of 75% in Physics and Mathematics, with Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology being elective subjects. In addition to meeting the minimal qualifying standards, candidates must present official JEE Main results.

To get admission to Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology:
- One must pass class 12th with Physics and Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/ Biology.
- Then you need to appear for AIEEE or JEE Main
- You need to visit the university's official website and fill out an application form for B.Tech CSE.
- After JEE Main or AIEEE results, selection will be done based on your score and ranking.

AKTU offers admission to two specialisations for BTech programmes through CUET: Biotechnology in Agriculture Other than these, a CUET score is acceptable for straight admission to the BTech course's second year. Applicants can apply to the CUET to be admitted to the BTech (LE).
