IIIT SONEPAT Computer Science Review.

Placements: I belong to the B.Tech CSE batch of IIIT Sonepat. The placement is around 85% of students. The highest package is 45 LPA, the average is around 12 LPA, and the lowest is around 6 LPA. The top companies that recruit are Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart. The majority of students get internships in top tech companies as SDEs.

Infrastructure: IIIT Sonepat has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and well-stocked CS labs. The hostels are good with Wi-Fi. The mess food is average but clean. Medical assistance is provided on campus. Cricket, football, badminton, and indoor games are available as sports facilities.

Faculty: The staff at IIIT Sonepat is supportive and qualified. The teaching is good, with an emphasis on core and practical concepts. The CSE course is industry-oriented. The tests are moderately difficult, with a 90% pass ratio. It prepares students well for a career in tech.

Other: I’m a part of the B.Tech CSE batch at IIIT Sonepat. I opted for CSE due to my interest in coding and technology. The curriculum is industry-oriented, with good peer learning. Increased electives and improved infrastructure would be beneficial. Fests, clubs, and Delhi NCR connectivity are plus points.

Absolutely nice facilities and good placement.

Placements: 60% percent of students are placed in our college in previous year. 52 LPA is maximum package and the lowest package given is 5 LPA and the median package of our college is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: All Labs have good speed of Wi-Fi and has computer and our college has also the digital lab provided. The quality of food in hostel is average.

Faculty: All teachers have knowledge in their own field and also the teaching quality of teachers is nice. The teaching experience of facilities is average. Difficulty level of semester exams is average. Sometime the mid semester exams and end semester exam are difficult..

Other: Our batch strength is 60 and there are two sections in our course.

Detail review of IIIT Sonepat

Placements: The placement of this institute is above average. The placement of the year 2024 is bad for most of the colleges, so I am not considering this year 2024, but the placement of the year 2023 was good. I hope next year’s placement will be good. The average package is 16 LPA, and the median is 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Currently, IIIT Sonepat is running in the temporary campus of SBIT College, Sonepat, but the constitution work of the IIIT Sonepat permanent campus will take a few years to be done . The facilities in the temporary campus are good enough. There are ac lecture classrooms.

Faculty: Faculty of this institute is good. There are well-qualified professors to teach. The syllabus is not more complex . Extra-curricular activities are not there. A sports festival is conducted every year . The exam pattern is very good, and there are three exams held in a semester.

Helping those students who wants to take admission in the upcoming year .

Placements: Approximately 85% students placed in past year. The average package for computer Science is about 17 LPA, and for information technology, it is about 18 LPA. The highest package is about 54 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. Many companies visit campus for placement like Yamaha, etc.

Infrastructure: IIIT Sonepat does not have its own campus; its classes run on the temporary campus of SBIT College, whose own campus is under construction. There are A.C. classrooms, libraries, and labs. Hostel infrastructure is the best, but the quality of food available in the mess is not good. There is a good canteen facility in college.

Faculty: Teachers at this college are helpful and well educated. There teaching quality is the best. Yes, this course is also curriculum-related. The difficulty level of semester exams is average. To pass the exam, it is mandatory to secure 40 marks in each and every exam.

Pretty average to below average college.

Placements: According to official sources provided on the college's official website 78.79% of students were placed, the highest package is 52 LPA, the lowest package is 6.4 LPA and the average package is 16.51 LPA. Top recruiters are Jio, Amazon, Deloitte, Juspay, Yamaha, etc. We have to get an internship on our own.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is alright but the labs and other places are like literal school classrooms. The hostel is pretty overpriced and the facilities are not worth it, there is only 1 building inside which all activities take place, basically, your hostel life will be ruined.

Faculty: Some teachers are alright, also under any circumstance don't completely rely on the teacher, you have to study on your own. Yes, it is relevant but can't be sure about industry-ready. The exams itself ain't that hard but there is not much lenient marking, don't worry about them you will find your way.
