The total tuition fee of BTech at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University is INR 3 lakh- INR 4.6 lakh. The total tuition fees for BTech (LE) is INR 3 lakh. For regular BTech specialisations, total tuition fees is same. This number is taken from the official website of university. It can change. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm admission.

BTech CSE is the most sought after BTech specialisation at IIT Kanpur. The course is offered in full-time mode for a span of 4 years. BTech CSE students at IITK have bagged excellent placement packages over the years. In 2024, the vaerage package for BTech CSE stood at INR 52.8 LPA. 

Further, the course curriculum offers a strong foundation in Science and maths in the first 2 years, followed by highly advanced professional courses and electives in the last 2 years of the course. It is also the most competitve BTech branch with a closing cutoff rank of 271 in 2025.

As per Shiksha, total tuition fee for BTech is around INR 4.05 Lacs - INR 16.1 lakh. The fee can differ for every specialisation. Fee structure can include one-time and annually paid components. Some of them are tuition fee, registration & examination charges, etc.

Eligibility is Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category and Maharashtra students). Candidate should have studied Physics and Mathematics are compulsory and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as optional subjects. Those with Diploma in Engineering and Technology or BSc are also eligible. Minimum aggregate requirements remain same.
