Amity University BTech registrations are open. Candidates can visit the application portal to register and apply. The students may be able to select the ASET Noida school for BTech admission. Candidates need to submit the application forms on or before the application deadline.

The CUSAT KEAM 2025 was released for admission to the BTech programme for various categories under the Home State quota. According to the CUSAT BTech Cutoff 2025, the last round closing cutoff ranged from 10038 to 66316 for the General HS quota. Among all the specialisation, the top two most sough-after specialisations were BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, followed by BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Students can refer to the table below to know the BTech closing cutoff for the last round for the General HS quota.

Amity School of Engineering and Technology follow the guidelines of Amity University for BTech fee refund. As per rules, there is provision for partial refunds. It also depends upon the time of withdrawal. Students get maximum fee refund, if they withdraw before the start of academic session or soon after.

ASET Noida BTech CSE tuition fees is INR 16.72 lakh. It is one of the expensive BTech courses of the institute. This fee amount is as per official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

LNMIIT offers decent placements annually to its BTech students. In 2025, 93.76% of the BTech batch were placed in reputed companies. The the highest and average package to the BTech batch 2025 was INR 124 LPA and INR 13.36 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include Microsoft, DE Shaw & Co, BNY Mellon, Flipkart, Samsung, Deloitte, ZS, IBM,  etc.

Thapar University is clearly better for B.Tech CSE than Chitkara University.

Why Thapar > Chitkara (for CSE):

  • Stronger brand & reputation

  • Better placements (higher average & top packages)

  • More competitive peer group

  • Better faculty, coding culture, and alumni network

Chitkara is decent if:

  • You want lower fees

  • Easier admissions

  • More hand-holding and structured discipline

Verdict:
If you can afford it and get in → choose Thapar.
If budget or admission is a constraint → Chitkara is okay, but not in the same league.
