In order to have a chance of getting an admission to ASCOT, the applicants should have passed the 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and mathematics as the core subjects scoring at least 45% in the aggregate (40 percent in reserved categories) to be able to get a chance at admissions from the UG to the B.E/B.Tech courses. The Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions (TNEA) is the most common mode of admissions through Class 12th scores.
