Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was founded by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006 and is recognised under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Came into existence in 2006, the University was formerly known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, (1987-2006). The university was accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is a member of various professional bodies such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), International Road Federation (IRF) and Indian Road Congress (IRC), among others.DCRUST offers UG, PG, and PhD courses.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Masters' Union began its journey in the year 2020 as a private institute offering a programme of post graduation in technology and business management, which was a 16 months duration course that was colloquially called as MBA. Perhaps this Institute wanted space for itself in this field and hence refused to offer undergraduate courses for some years before relenting and beginning to undergraduate courses of 4 years duration.
