NIT - Narula Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| BBA | Candidate passed 10+2 from any recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| UG Diploma | Candidates must have passed (10+2) HS Vocational Examination from the WBSCT & VE & SD (Vocational Education Division) [Erstwhile, WBSCVE&T] or Passed 2 years' ITI at a stretch after passing Madhyamik or equivalent examination or Passed 10+2 examination with mentioned compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology from any recognised Board or Passed 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognised Board or Passed 10+2 (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from any recognised Boards. |
| BCA | Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | The candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc with a minimum of 45% marks. For reserve category students minimum marks are 40%. The candidates must have a valid JELET score (pass marks in XII standard with mathematics in case of B.Sc Degree Holders). |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidates completed M.Sc. in Computer Science/ComputerApplications/Mathematics (with Computer Science Specialisation), MCA (with BCA or B.Sc. with Mathematics compulsory and any of the others from Statistics, Physics, Electronics or Computer Science) from any recognised institute/ university are also eligible to apply. |
| After 10th Diploma | Candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute. Candidate appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination are also eligible to apply. Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit. |
| MCA | Candidate who qualify eligibility as given below can also apply: Module 4 Candidate must have obtained a BSc Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics. They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognised Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level. Candidate have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education. |

The candidate, if admitted, will have to clear the subjects of Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing of the 1st year Degree Course in Engineering/Technology along with their second year subjects. Candidate must be citizen of India. The above mentioned upper age limit is for B.Sc. candidates as on 31.12.2018. There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering/ Technology. |

Krishna Group of Institutions, Kanpur has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
