There are some tasks in bank which should be performed by the people who had good command in a specific area.
If the bank has some legal issue than the law officer has to take care of those issues.
If bank has some software problem than IT officer will take care of the same.

I would suggest you to go for modern banker program as the career scope in that stream is high. I would say it is an entry into a well-paid and secure career.

You can apply for - IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, IBPS RRB and many more exams.
The eligibility required to appear in these exams is graduation.

Yes, you are eligible for bank exams because bank exam has only one criteria of completed graduation with any discipline from an authorized university.
IBPS conducts the CWE exam for public sector banks or RRB Banks for the post of clerk, PO, SO.
IBPS doesn't ask for the percentage, they only ask the candidate to be passed in graduation.
Apart than this, if banks conduct their own exam, they ask for a minimum percentage of 60%.
