MBA in general will have all the subjects like marketing, finance, operations etc., but it would be not in a much detailed level. MBA finance is specialized course which will give you exposure on all financial aspects in detail. MBA finance is for students who want to get into the financial side of companies .

"Cutting a melon", therefore, is a term used to describe a situation in which a company's managers declare a large cash dividend or extra stock equity. Ofcourse. You can pursue but a good sum of hard work would be needed because you are from science background.
Commerce background students know the basics but Science stream finds the syllabus a bit complicated.
