Bannari Amman Institute of Technology admissions to BTech or BE course is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants who have passed HSc or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for Backward Class/ MBC & DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST) must apply for TNEA. Candidates are allotted seat in the course via TNEA Counselling and seat allotment.

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology admissions are both merit and entrance-based. Candidates must first register for the course of their choice to participate in the selection rounds. Aspirants need to apply for TNEA after fulfiling the eligibility for BE programme. For MBA and ME/ MTech, the selection is based on CET conducted by the Association of Management of Coimbatore. Besides, candidates can also apply for MBA and ME/ M.Tech with TANCET and GATE/ CEETA-PG scores, respectively.
