An unofficial source claims that 10% of applicants are accepted to Bashkir State Medical University. This demonstrates that the university has very strict admissions requirements and takes a strict stance when selecting worthy applicants. International students must meet the requirements for basic eligibility, which include proving they completed intermediate school with at least 50% in English, Physics, chemistry, and biology. To be admitted, students must be at least 17 years old, meet NEET-UG requirements, and provide documentation of their English language skills.

Indian applicants must pass the NEET UG Exam, along with scoring a 50% in physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in their 10+2 exams. NEET-UG is a mandatory entrance exam or UG medical programs in India and abroad. Thus, while BSMU doesn’t administer its own entrance exam, NEET UG qualification is necessary foe eligibility to study in Bashkir State Medical University.
