Most institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in entrance exams. Other than that group discussions followed by a personal interview. 
Some institutes conduct their own entrance. The admission process generally varies across colleges. A few institutes also provide direct admission based on the 12th class score.

Please check for your eligibility to pursue BBA from the criteria mentioned below:
Eligibility for BBA Course:
Interested aspirants for the course need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. Completion of HSC (10+2 level) from a recognised educational board
English as one of the subjects at HSC
The minimum aggregate score of 50% to 60% at 10+2 level of education
Students who have appeared in HSC examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

Hi,
There is no set cut-off as the admission process is done through entrance test conducted for the BBA programme only.

If you are looking for job opportunities immediately after studies, both the streams are equally good. B.Tech can be completed in four years, whereas, BBA is a three-year course. If you are preparing for Public Service Examination, you can look for BBA. Finally, the choice of course must be based on one's interest in relevant field of study.
