A degree from a private university (holding ugc/aicte accredition) in regular mode has same value as a degree awarded by government university. But, a regular degree has no comparision with part time/distance mode. Regular is much much more acceptable in industry. All the best

i can help you.
See, BBA- it is a 3 year degree with 6 semesters.
CAT- It is a test for MBA admission.I think that you need 6 months to 1 year for preparations.
MBA- you are saying that you want to do it from IIM. IIM don't offer any MBA course.But don't be sad, because it offers PGPM(post graduate programme of management) which is similar to MBA.
It is a 2 year programme.
SO, 3 Yrs of BBA, 1 Yr of CAT preparations, and 2 Yrs of PGPM = 6 years.
NOTE: You have to pass CAT with good percents, than only you can get admission.
The 2 yrs duration of MBA is equal in every institution.
It is very difficult to get addmited in IIMs.

Dear vicky pal. after completion of bba you can go for post graduation like MBA. this MBA can pursue in US/UK, India IIMS, business schools, central universities. etc. you have to take decision accordingly you have to start your preparation.
