In 2023, the estimated minimum score needed to be admitted to the BBA programme is as follows-

1. In the Class 12 exams, a minimum of 80% aggregate in the top 4 subjects is required. But, just getting  80% of the possible score does not ensure selection because Thapar LS takes into account a number of factors before creating the final merit list. Among them are:

• High TIET Law School Admission Test (LSAT) score - A minimum LSAT score of 100+ (out of 300) is advised.
• Academic profile from 10th, 11th, and 12th standards is generally consistent.
• Participation in extracurricular activities like sports and volunteer work, etc.
• Results from other entrance exams, if any, such as the SAT, CAT, MAT, etc.
  
  

The eligibility criteria for BBA-

• Educational Requirements: The applicant must have graduated from an accredited board with a Class 12 Diploma or its equivalent.
  -a minimum of 60% overall in class 12 (best four subjects).
  -be from any field, including science, commerce, or the humanities.
• Entrance Exams: Must have received a valid score on the Thapar Institute's TIET Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
• Age Requirement: As of July 1, 2023, applicants cannot be older than 20 years old.
• Candidates must also fulfill the following requirements at the Thapar Institute level in order to be eligible:

       Adhere to established medical health standards possess a certificate of satisfactory character from their college or school.Meet  all requirements at the time of application.

1. The primary test offered by Thapar Institute especially for admission to courses offered by the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is the TIET Law School Admission Test (LSAT). The LSAT score is 40% of the total points needed to be admitted to the BBA program.
2. CAT/MAT: Results from the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or Common Admission Test (CAT) are accepted as a component of the academic profile assessment for BBA admissions. Selection chances can be increased by having strong CAT/MAT percentiles from the previous two years.
3. CMAT: The results of the most recent Common Management Admission Test are taken into account and can enhance the strength of a BBA application at Thapar LS.
4. SAT: Students who have completed the test can display their verbal and quantitative reasoning skills with their scores. 

The expected minimum cutoff for BBA at the Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences for the 2023 admissions is roughly 80% or more in the best four subjects of class 12th, based on previous years' admission trends.It is important to acknowledge that achieving a mere 80% does not ensure acceptance into Thapar LS's BBA program, as the admission requirements consider multiple factors.
The final merit list is created by allocating 40% of the weight to the 12th grade, 40% to the Thapar-conducted LSAT score, and 20% to the student's entire academic record.
Therefore, a subpar LSAT score or profile may hurt your chances even if you scored 80% in your 12th grade. It is advised to have an LSAT score of at least 100+ for a better chance.
