Any candidate who has completed his/her 12th with passing marks in 10+2 can pursue this course. No particular stream is required to pursue this course. Qualification for BCA lateral entry course:
Candidates for the BCA Lateral Entry course must have completed a Diploma to be admitted as a lateral entry. An applicant must have at least 55% in any subject in their Diploma to be admitted as a lateral entry student to the BCA programme.

Passing class 12th with English as a compulsory subject. A minimum 50% aggregate mark in any stream is required for admission.
