With a NEET score of 284, securing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) seat in a government dental college is unlikely, as these institutions typically require higher scores. However, you may have opportunities in private dental colleges, especially within Bihar.

For instance, in the 2022 admissions under the 85% state quota in Bihar, the following private colleges admitted students with NEET scores around your range:

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patna: Admitted students with scores as low as 195.

Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital, Darbhanga: Accepted candidates with scores down to 120.

The admission procedure entails applying for NEET counseling under the MCC or state counseling body. It would be advisable to keep yourself well-informed regarding the official KGMU and NEET counseling portals for precise details and dates.
