No, the university considers the merit of the candidates in graduation for providing admission. Aspirants do not have to appear for any of the entrance exam. Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis but at the time of admission such a candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/ marksheet from the respective examination provided that he /she fulfills the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, the admission shall stand cancelled. 

Admission to MBA course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. 

The total fee of MBA is INR 8 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee, includes components other than the tuition fee. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. 

Candidates who belong to the General category need to pay INR 400 and those who belong to SC/ST category need to pay INR 200 as an application fee. 

 Bharathiar University offers MSc course across 29 specialisations. These are Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc.

Admission to MSc course is both merit and entrance-based. For some specialisations, admission is merit-based while for a few other specialisations, admission is entrance-based.

The selection for MBBS course is based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score. This national-level exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based mode.
