Based on available information securing admission to the computer Science and engineering (CSE) branch at Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) Bhilai with a JEE Main rank of 124,251 as a general category candidate appears challenging. So, It is unlikely to secure a seat in the CSE branch at BIT Bhilai with this rank.

The placement cell at IIT Bhilai also known as Center for Career Planning and Services (CCPS) organises a training and placement programme every year. The programme includes campus placements for internships and graduate placements. The Summer Internship programme usually commences from May-July, while the winter internships usually start in December. Meanwhile, the graduates placement drive starts from September annually. Various training sessions are organised for students to gain industrial exposure through interaction with trained experts. 

Currently, the training and placement programme at IIT Bhilai consists of the summer (May to July) and winter (December) internship programs, which last approximately 4-6 weeks, respectively.  The previous year 2024 saw over 80 students receiving internships from top companies.
