The IIT Bhilai Jam Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing, with the Cutoff of 511, with the General AI category candidates. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff stood at 666.
If the Cutoff rank is more than 511, there is no scope for admission to IITs for M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing.

The IIT Bhilai MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein the M.Sc. in Mathematics and Computing is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 498 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc. in Physics with a cutoff rank of 590. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 590 to be eligible for IIT Bhilai.
IIT Bhilai admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.

IIT Bhilai and NIT Raipur are both excellent engineering schools. With a solid placement record and a lengthy history of offering technical education, NIT Raipur is regarded as a respectable institution. IIT Bhilai, on the other hand, is acknowledged as a recent IIT with room to expand. However, based on a comparison between NIT Raipur and IIT Bhilai, it is suggested that NIT Raipur would be a superior option because of its ranking, alumni base, and established reputation.
