BHM focuses specifically on hotel and lodging management, including food service, front office, and operations.
Hospitality Management is broader, covering tourism, travel, events, resorts, and leisure management apart from hotels. While BHM is more specialized, Hospitality Management prepares students for diverse service industry roles.

BHM admissions in India are majorly based on NCHMCT JEE, CUET, and state-level tests such as MAH HM CET.
These exams usually asses the aptitude, reasoning, English and hospitality knowledge in candidates and let them know where they stand in the admission process.
The best Hotel Management colleges conduct these exams which are then followed by counselling, PI and GDs. Scoring well in these exams makes it possible for candidates to get selected in good colleges in India.
