BHMS Scope

There is a good scope in every field. Please remember that you should pursue a stream based on two things :
-Your career goal
-The type of job you want to do
Find below few of the job avenues open in the respective fields:
1) BHMS:
After the course completion, you may find employment as:
-Homeopathic practitioner in both India and abroad.
-Medical representative at a private or government hospital.
-Professor or a researcher in any homeopathic college.
-You may start a personal clinic.
-You may setup retail shop of homeopathy medicines.
-You may work in industries dealing with homeopathic preparations.
-You may start your own pharmacy.
-You may work in public and private sector.
-You may work in private or government hospitals, clinics, NGOs, etc.
2) BAMS:
As for the jobs, alternative medicine practitioners have lots of scope in medical field such as counseling, mental or physical therapy, healthcare department, naturopathic doctor, etc. Professional in this field gets training and motivation to develop their knowledge.
For some career opportunities in this field may need additional knowledge, certification and education.
A graduate in alternative medicine can seek career option in following areas such as researcher, practitioners in Ayurvedic & homoeopathic, hospitals, dispensaries and in government sectors.
Private practitioners in above fields get the initial salary in the range of Rs 8,000.
A graduate working with a trained practitioner or in the clinic could help them to gain the confidence and revenue.
Research institutions and in Drug and pharmaceutical companies employ research scientists and consultants in order to work in this field.
Post graduate students can also opt for teaching jobs in universities and colleges.

It depends on where your interest lies. B.Sc in Physiotherapy is an undergraduate course in science. The duration of the course is 3 to 4 years (depending on the University that offers the course). The course study mainly covers the method and techniques used in the eradication of diseases via physical exercises. The modern methods in physiotherapy treatment such as electrotherapy, rehabilitation therapy, etc are also covered under the course. Further, physiotherapy also has a vast range of career options to choose. People can either work in India or go abroad and flourish their career in physiotherapy.
On the other side, BHMS is a 5.5 years course, which includes a 1-year internship. The subjects that are taught to the students in BHMS course are Homeopathy philosophy, Materia Medica, Repertory, Pharmacy, and other subjects that are taught in MBBS like Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology, etc. So, it depends on what you want to pursue.It depends upon your interest and choice.
