Every year the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts an All India entrance examination for admission to Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes offered by the university. Entrance exam has been divided into five sections namely General Awareness, Numerical Aptitude, General Mental Ability, General English and Social Science, each divided into number of individual chapters.
Mathematical Aptitude Test Areas (+2 Level): Logarithms, Inequalities, Matrices and Determinants, Progressions, Binomial Expansion, Permutation and Combination, Equations (upto degree 2), Function and Relation, Complex Arithmetic, 2-D Coordinate Geometry, Basics of Calculus, Basic Concepts of Probability.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning: Questions will be mainly for checking logical conclusion, graphical/data interpretation, etc.

BHU PET is an entrance examination for admission to different PG courses conducted by BHU.
Preparation for any exam begins with laying hands on syllabus. Then one should make a time table keeping in mind the time available for studies prior to exam. The subjects must have already been studied by the students while appearing for undergraduate examinations. So the time table should take care of this fact and lay emphasis on brushing up topics that one feels needs more studies. Along with the study one must plan time for exercise, yoga & pranayam. These three things will keep body & mind healthy do that one does not fall sick during examination time and misses on all important exams. Last but not the least, important is to keep aside time for relaxation. Nobody can study continuously and needs relaxation. If one follows the strategy as above then I am sure success is yours.

In BHU PET, the exam structure is all same as like any other examination but you need to adopt some different methodology to get excellent position. You must first have to understand about its pattern. Each question of BHU PET 2018 will carry three marks and total marks is 360 for 120 objective type questions. Total time you get for completing the exam is just 2 hours. So try to practice the questions in such a manner so that you can successfully clear 1 question in 1 minute. It is not as difficult as you are thinking. What you just need is clear all the concepts that are taught in class 11th and 12th. And study very hard. Always use the past sample papers as a reference to check your level. The best way to perform well is having tight grasp over the knowledge that you have learned while preparation. And lastly, with little sincere efforts, you can surely crack the exam. Hope this helps.
