The admissions will happen under two streams.
Stream 1: 70% of seats through JEE (Mains) score and +2 score.
25% and 75% of weightage will be given to JEE score and +2 marks under this stream. Your +2 marks will be normalized with that of the first rank student's marks in your board. You will be ranked with respect to the combined score of your JEE (Mains) and +2 marks. Your rank will be determined by the combined scores of all other applicants. Candidates must have passed Graduation with 45% of marks. Candidate must have completed Major/ Honors in Zoology/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ Life Science.
Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test conducted by Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics, Assam University.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on score obtained in written test.
Candidates are selected based on written test score, graduation score and performance in personal interview.

Yes, you can apply for B.Tech in Biotechnology. Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D.Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
Candidate having valid score in any recognized national / state level entrance examinations will be exempted from entrance test conducted by the college.
Candidates are selected based on marks obtained in 10+2 and entrance test/any recognized national / state level entrance examinations.
Interested candidates can apply online with required information.
