To take a B.Sc from an IIT, studying Mathematics in your 12th-grade subjects is generally required. All IITs provide B.Sc courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Data Science, which demand a good background in mathematics. If you are a student of Biology without Mathematics, you might not be able to take these courses. But IIT Madras has an Online B.Sc in Data Science where students without mathematical backgrounds can be admitted through a foundation course. To be admitted to IITs' general B.Sc programs, you have to be qualified for JEE Advanced, and that means having Mathematics as a mandatory subject at 12th grade.

Yes, you can give NEET in 2024. Although you passed your 12th class with PCM in 2022 and gave only the Biology exam in 2024, you are eligible. NEET asks you to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, but you don't have to give all subjects in the same year. Provided that you cleared Biology and fulfill the age and other conditions, you are eligible to appear for the NEET exam. Just refer to the official NEET 2024 notification to confirm whether there are any other conditions.
