B.sc(Hons.) in Biology at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has different cutoffs based on different categories. Though for the General category, the rank criteria has been fixed at 1614 and the cutoff marks are 92. For OBC the rank cutoff is 560 and the cutoff marks are 155, for SC it is 275 and cutoff marks: 85, for ST the rank cutoff is 100 and the cutoff marks are 57. Also, CUET cut off for BHU 2024 has been given where the general category cutoff is 600 and above. The university also has other courses such as B.Tech, BA and B.com which admission requirements have different cutoff marks.

You can opt for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at many colleges if you are a student with biology as your background; the eligibility criteria differ from institute to institute. Some might need a background in Mathematics at the higher secondary level. Check the individual requirements of the college before getting admission. Yes, you can definitely apply in DSSSB for PGT biology if you have completed your M.Sc in biotechnology. The basic eligibility requirements are that you need to have a Masters degree from a recognised university in the relevant subject, which you are already having.
