If you are interested in courses such as Biotechnology or Forensics, you may choose English, Biology, and Physics for the CUET. The subjects would be relevant as Biology will provide foundational knowledge, whereas Physics is generally required for some of the scientific principles. However, communication skills are crucial in any field, hence the importance of English. Make sure to check the specific eligibility criteria and subject requirements for the course you wish to pursue at the university level because different institutions have specific subject combinations for admission into Biotechnology or Forensics programs.

You can opt for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at many colleges if you are a student with biology as your background; the eligibility criteria differ from institute to institute. Some might need a background in Mathematics at the higher secondary level. Check the individual requirements of the college before getting admission. If your selected college accepts students from a different academic background, there won't be any problem opting for CSE.

Yes, you can definitely apply in DSSSB for PGT biology if you have completed your M.Sc in biotechnology. The basic eligibility requirements are that you need to have a Masters degree from a recognised university in the relevant subject, which you are already having. The normal age limit generally ranges between 21 and 36 years, if you have any reserved category certificate you may get relaxation in that. A 2-3 year teaching experience is very much desirable to get the job easily. You can apply for the PGT Biology post online through the DSSSB website.

The basic difference between both is that Biology is a discipline that covers the study of every living being and Botany is a sub-discipline under Biology that focuses on plants study.
Under Biology, students study about the structure, function, distribution, taxonomy, and evolution of many organisms. Meanwhile, Botany studies about the structure, properties, biochemical processes, classification, and interactions with the environment.
