When a Biomedical Engineer goes for internship it totally depends upon his/her caliber to fetch most out of it. Internships are particularly helpful to get understanding of Basics principles of medical equipment and their operations and applications. They are also crucial in networking with industry people which can be quite helpful for job searches. You can choose any big hospital in the city you are comfortable with. Being from north I can say, PGI/AIIMS/Apollo/Max/Fortis will be good for BME internships.
