VIT Vellore has no cut off on entrance Exam in M.Sc. Biotechnology. Rather, you will be able to get admitted based only on your grades in your Bachelors degree. At least 60 percent of cumulative score in a field related to Biology science ( e.g Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology). The SC/ST, candidates belonging to the North-Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh should be considered at 50% at relaxed eligibility. This merit is used to process such applications and shortlisted candidates are invited to be admitted. 67609 th rank is good but as in VIT mostly only candidates within 2000 rank are taken in. Sometimes if they decided to have more batches then they would refer to extend the rank more than 2000.
