Yes, mathematics is mandatory to get admission to B.Tech programs through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in India. JEE is an entrance examination conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs, including B.Tech, in prestigious institutions like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) in India.

So, you cannot get admission in any Engineering College even for Biotechnology which provides admission through only JEE Mains as to be eligible for JEE main it is mandatory to have studied maths.

The placement of KIIT Kanpur for B.Tech biotechnology: Nearly 94% of students have been placed thus far. The majority of students are hired by consulting firms and service-based businesses. The average package was 4.2 Lacs per year, and the maximum was 27 lakhs. The options for students were manager, developer, and other positions.

The 2021 placements were good, and the facility had excellent facilities and fully equipped labs. Placements: The 2020–21 academic year has been selected for 80% of students. The greatest and the lowest packages available were 15 LPA and 3.5 LPA, respectively.

Placements: Both REC and SVCE have good placement records for Biotechnology graduates. However, REC may have a slightly better placement record.

Research: REC has a stronger research focus than SVCE. If you are interested in doing research in Biotechnology, then REC may be a better option for you.

Industry connections: REC has stronger industry connections than SVCE. If you are interested in working in the Biotechnology industry, then REC may be a better option for you.

No, you will not be eligible for B.Sc biotechnology. For admission in B.Sc biotechnology you have to pass in PCM/ PCB. If you fail in any of the subjects you will not be eligible for B.Sc biotechnology.

In class 12th, the student must have an aggregate of 60 percent in order to get admission for B, Sc biotechnology in any college.
