Most popular colleges or universities for biotechnology are University of Hyderabad-School of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai-Institute of Chemical Technology, National Dairy Research Institute Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology School of Allied Medical Sciences, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, Delhi Technological University-Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology-Department of Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology, Delhi University Banaras Hindu University Jawaharlal Nehru University.

As compare to srm university, loyola college, Chennai is comparatively best for doing M.Sc. Biotechnology. Loyola is a private owned college and it has NAAC A+ accreditation, and it is co-Ed and it also has good placements too. So its better to choose loyola. And there are even various colleges like,

Christ University provides three year Bachelor of science course which may include both physical and life sciences as the fee structure is 10K to 25K per year and scholarship is also provided.

BSc(Hons.) in Biotechnology at Punjabi University provides three year course program. To pursue this course one should complete his or her intermediate with 60 to 95 percentage and the fee structure is 7580 to 12680 per year and scholarship is also provided

The fee structure at Adarsh Institute of Management and Science, Dhamnod for BSc in Biotechnology is approximately 8K to 15K per year and cut off is 65 to 85 percentage.

B.Sc. in Biotechnology at KVR Government Degree College for Women is a four year course program. Inorder to pursue this course one should complete his or her intermediate with 60 to 90 percentage. The fee structure is 6k to 8k and even scholarship is provided

BSc in Biotechnology is a three or four year course at Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government college as it is eligible for the one who have completed his/her intermediate in Bipc course and the fee structure is 4560 per year
