Students are accepted into the B.Sc. (Biotechnology, Chemistry) program at Mount Carmel College based on their performance in the 12th grade. There are only forty students selected for admission in this course at MCC.
You need to have more than 75% to be shortlisted for the admission process at MCC. The college publishes the list of shortlisted students for the course after the application process is over. Some of the entrance exams for B.Tech Biotechnology are JEE Main WBJEE JEE Advanced KCET etc. MMMUT Round-5 seat allotment and display of seat allotment result for B.Tech Admission 2022 will be released on 16 Oct 2022. No, not all DU colleges accept Biotechnology scores instead of Biology to get admission for B.Sc. Honors in Zoology. Note that there are some colleges that accept Biology scores of class 12th and also entrance exam scores that decide whether you get into Zoology honors or not.

Each year, 40,000 students graduate with biotechnology from more than 302 Biotechnology colleges in India. Aspirants need to qualify the 10+2 level from any recognised board of education with Physics Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible for B.Sc. Biotechnology.
