Placements are not that great in terms of the kind of package or the companies that visit the campus. But mass recruiters like TCS visit every year and that way most students get placed. Of course some good companies like VM ware do vist and hire, but the number is less. I am writing about the statistics of 2014 since thats the time when I saw placements there. CS and information Science guys get better package compared to other branches (which is what happens in any college). So, if placements are the only concern prefer some Bangalore college. If you want peaceful life and less expenses then prefer Tumkur.
All the best

Ofcourse you can go for MBA after your B.Tech. MBA doesnt require a Bachelors in a relative business education. Any graduate can pursue MBA irrespective of their graduation type and specialization. All the best.

Hello Alpesh,
Your score in MHT-CET and class 12th are almost matching. It's actually quite tough to predict college since there are plenty of variables that determine this. However, I am attaching a link that will predict college for you.

You have got a decent rank in IPU exam code 130 of biotech. The most reputed college for biotech in IPU is USBT, i.e. University School of Biotechnology. Generally, its cutoff goes from 80-100 rank.

Yes, your rank seems quite sufficient enough to get a seat into IPU for biotechnology. Moreover, your home state quota will help you a lot. So, go for the counseling till last rounds.
Hope this was helpful. Good luck!

You would have to check on their websites or taking some orientation classes to know how many seats are left. IPU usually accepts people from management quota as well, so you don't have to worry if you don't get your name. The money would work.
