This is a very interesting question which you have posted, I am not an expert on either field, but would like to give my input.
In a recent tweet, Bill Gates has suggested, that students should go for Biotechnology as a career choice as it has many job opportunities worldwide.
BA Malayalam will also be a good option if you see yourself working a translator or voice-over artist.

I would suggest you Thapar University. 1. B.Sc zoology, B.Sc botany, B.Sc Physiology, B.Sc anthropology - all these subjects are in colleges, and biology is taught in schools aswell. So, you have a huge career option open for you, as a teacher or lecturer.
2. You can opt for B.Sc Microbiology, which is an upcoming field and also has lots of scope in research.
