Yes, the MHT-CET exam is compulsory in order to pursue B.Tech from Maharashtra state. And, you have to face maths in biotechnology in the first year.

To apply for a UG programme abroad, you need to give SAT or ACT exam. If you are looking for the US with SAT or ACT you also need TOEFL and for the UK you have to give IELTS.
These are the basic exams that will be required probably everywhere but every university is having their own admission requirements so please check the website of every university individually to know about the exams they require. Also, there are no such criteria for 12th standard marks but perform your best as high school marks affects abroad admission equally as your SAT or ACT score. So your high school score is most important for admission abroad. Best of luck.
