Eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Patna Extension Center is given below:
- You should have minimum of 75% (65% for reserved categories) in your 12th in aggregate with PCM as Compulsory Subjects.
- You should have a valid score card of JEE MAINS Exam of that year.
- You should have a valid domicile certificate of Bihar if you are applying through homestate quota.

Obviously Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Patna Extension Center is really good. It offers great academic infrastructure . Placements are around 81% for the total batch. Admissions are based on JEE MAINS RANKS processed through JOSSA/CSAB Counselling process. It is a 25 Acre campus with all modern amenties including hostels, sports, medical facilities etc. You will get degree of BIT Mesra.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Patna accepts JEE Main scores to allow admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses. Recently. Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Patna Cutoff 2025 for the Round 1 seat allotment results has been released by the institute, based on candidates' performance in JEE Main. As per the Round 1 cutoff data, the closing cutoff for various courses ranged between 41711 and 61726 for the General AI category candidates. BIT Mesra admits candidates to the BTech course based on the scores of candidates in the JEE Main exam. The admission process is entrance-based and candidates must appear for JEE Main to participate in the same. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores must also participate in the JoSAA counselling round for final seat allotment.
