BIT Mesra offers admission to courses in UG and PG level in the fields of Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences and Business & Management Studies, among others. Admission to various UG level courses require Class 12 qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 75%. It is improbable that an OBC candidate having a rank of 100,526 in JEE Main will be admitted into Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, according to last year statistics. For example, in 2023, the closing rank for OBC applicants to Civil Engineering was 18,615.
