BIT MCA Entrance Exam

The General English section of the BIT MCA entrance exam syllabus includes topics on Reading Comprehension, Grammar (articles/prepositions), Vocabulary (synonyms/antonyms), Idioms, and Sentence Sequencing.

In this section of the BIT MCA entrance exam, the test evaluates candidates Logical, Quantitative, and Visio-spatial reasoning through situations based on given facts.

In the computer awareness section of the BIT MCA entrance exam there are typically 20 questions dedicated to Computer Awareness in the 120-question format.

For the BIT MCA entrance exam the questions are based on topics such as Computer Basics, Data Representation, Binary Arithmetic, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Flowcharts/Algorithms.

The Mathematics section of the BIT MCA enteance exam will consists of 60 objective-type questions, making it the largest part of the test.

The BIT MCA entrance exam is divided into four main sections: Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English.

If there is a tie in the exam, the institute typically follows a tie-breaking rule-

• The candidate with higher marks in Math is ranked higher.
• If a tie persists marks in Analytical Ability will be considered
• Lastly the age of the candidate will be considered. Older candidates are given priority.

Admission to BIT MCA is based on the merit list. Some reports suggest a minimum qualifying score of 35 out of 100 is needed to enter the merit list.

In the BIT MCA proctored written test,  Computer Fundamentals is the largest section, accounting for 50% of the total questions (50 out of 100).
