BITS HD Exam

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science conducts the BITS HD exam annually to offer higher degree programs (Master of Engineering and M.Pharma). Admissions are offered across various campuses - Pilani, Dubai, Goa, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The branches and disciplines are different for each campuses. 

BITS HD, also known as Birla Institute of Science and Technology Higher Degree Test (BITS HD), is a university-level entrance examination that offers admission to higher degree programs (M.E/M.Pharma) at all BITS Pilani campuses - Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa. Candidates can check the details once the information brochure is released. 

BITS Pilani, the conducting body of the BITS HD exam, will release the list of exam centres in the information brochure. The entrance test will be conducted in different cities across India. Candidates will have to provide at least three exam centre options per their preference, and they will be allotted to one of the centres, depending on the availability. The details of the BITS HD exam centre will be provided on the admit card. 

The official BITS HD 2026 exam date will be announced by the Birla Institute of Technical Science. The exam will be conducted on two dates. The BITS HD exam dates along with iteration result date will be made available on the official website along with the information brochure. Students are advised to go through the website for more information regarding the BITS HD exam. 

The BITS HD 2025 application is yet to release. BITS Pilani conducts the BITS HD exam every year to offer admissions to higher degree programs in various disciplines. The mode of the application form is online and is expected to start in the first week of March 2025. Yes, BITS HD 2025 exam pattern varies for Tests  Iand II. BITS HD 2025 Test 1 will have two sections Core Mathematics and English Language Skills & logical reasoning. However, Test II of BITS HD will have one section only. There will be a total of 30 questions in Test I while the Test II will have 70 multiple choices questions. Candidates are advised to go through the BITS HD exam pattern to ace the exam with a good score.

No, you need not appear for BITS HD exam if you have a valid GATE/GPAT score. Applicants with valid GATE/GPAT score can also fill BITS HD application form. These applicants are exempt from taking the BITS HD 2024 exam. Candidates who have successfully registered must use their login information to finish the BITS HD 2024 slot booking. Candidates can download their BITS HD admission card 2024 after successfully booking a slot. A few days after the exam ends, the exam authority will provide the BITS HD result 2024 in iteration form. Those that are deemed qualified will be able to take part in the BITS HD counselling in 2024. 

Yes, candidates appearing in the BITS HD 2025 exam will be allowed to select their preferred exam date, centre and slot through slot booking facility. The exam authority will commence the BITS HD slot booking after the conclusion of the registration process in online mode. Candidates need to enter their registration number, date of birth (DOB), and password to complete BITS HD slot booking 2025.
